Prior to dedicating herself to music full-time, Harris had a bright future as a lacrosse player during her college years. However, an unfortunate incident occurred when she suffered an injury, forcing her to discontinue her involvement in the sport.

“I always loved music but it was when I tore my ACL the first time out of the numerous times I have. I needed to find something else because when I lost (lacrosse), I felt like I lost my whole identity., she tells the Syracuse University sports newspaper.

“I realized you can be more than just one thing. Finding music changed my life 100 percent.”

Harris recently moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music, and her songwriting efforts are off to a strong start.
